"Update somehow made my bike worse"
After the latest update, my bike feels worse than before. Things that were working fine are now acting up, and when I reached out to support, they basically just told me to wait. Which is frustrating because... I mean, I bought this to ride it, not sit around hoping the next fix actually fixes something.

"Bike’s okay, but the app and wait are frustrating"
The bike itself is fine, no real complaints there. But the app is basically useless, half the time it won’t even connect. I also ended up standing around waiting in the queue way longer than expected, which made the whole experience annoying.

I ordered a bike and the timing just couldn't have been worse. I got the order confirmation right away, but after that there was barely any communication. The delivery date kept shifting around and no one really explained what was going on. I reached out to support a few times, but the replies were slow and felt copy-and-paste. For something this expensive, I expected at least a few basic updates, especially since I was trying to plan around the delivery. Really frustrating experience overall.

Support took what felt like forever to get back to me, maybe a few days or so, and when they finally replied, it didn’t really solve much. It was kind of frustrating, honestly.

"My VanMoof has been having charging problems..."
My VanMoof has been having charging problems way too often, and it’s exhausting. Some days it charges fine, other days absolutely nothing happens, or it randomly stops halfway through. Support also takes forever to get back to you. For how much this bike costs, I really expected something as basic as charging to just work.

"Left the store feeling drained"
I went into the store hoping to get some help with my bike, but it ended up being more frustrating than anything. I waited around for what felt like forever, and while the staff were polite, they didn’t really do much to fix the issue. They basically just told me to book something online. By the time I left, I felt mentally drained and like I’d wasted the trip

"I’ve only had the bike for..."
I’ve only had the bike for a little while, i was let down. It looks good at first glance and the frame has a clean style, but once I started using it, a lot of the smaller parts just felt cheap.
The pedals began making noise, the kickstand felt loose, and the handlebar grips wouldn’t stay in place. For what this bike costs, I really expected everything to feel a lot sturdier and more put together.
Customer support aside, the bike itself just doesn’t feel solid enough for everyday riding. If it were cheaper, maybe I’d be more forgiving, but at this price I’m disappointed and wouldn’t buy it again...

The seat started hurting quickly, and every bump felt way harsher than it should have. Not a fun ride at all :-/

i had high hopes for this, but owning it has been more frustrating than enjoyable. there have been too many little issues, support takes longer than i’d like, and at this point it just doesn’t feel worth what i paid. i wanted a simple bike for everyday use, not something else to stress about. i really regret buying it.
"Decent bike, but the goalposts kept moving"
The bike itself was fine, and I don’t regret getting it. The frustrating part was dealing with support. Replies took a while, and every time I thought I understood what was happening, the update or timeline seemed to change again. It felt like the goalposts kept moving, which made it hard to fully trust the process. I still like the bike, but I’m not totally sure I’d buy from them again.

"I bought this a few weeks ago..."
I bought this a few weeks ago mainly because the anti-theft features sounded like they would give me some real peace of mind. At first, I felt good about it, but when I actually needed the tracking, it was slow and the location details weren’t very clear. Over the next couple of days, I kept checking the app and it just gave me vague updates that didn’t really help. I also reached out to support, but they weren’t much use either. For what I paid, I expected it to be a lot more reliable.

"Good-looking bike, but the value isn’t there"
I really liked the way the VanMoof looked, and it rides fine for the most part. The weird part is, for a bike that costs this much, I kept feeling like I was dealing with little issues I wouldn’t expect at that price.
Repairs and parts felt expensive, and when I needed support, it took longer than I hoped. It’s not a cheap bike, so even though there are things I like about it, I don’t feel like it was worth the money for me.

"Save your time — the battery doesn’t last"
I’d save your time on this one. The battery drains way too fast now, and it feels like I’m constantly having to charge it. Frustrating if you need something that actually lasts.

I wanted to like it, but the motor just feels kind of weak and cuts out randomly. It still works here and there, so I guess I’ll deal with it for now, but I definitely expected it to hold up better

"I sent it in for repair..."
I sent it in for repair expecting it to come back working, but it’s still broken. I’m not asking for anything complicated, if a repair service is offered, the item should actually be fixed before it’s returned. Frustrating experience.

"Not as reliable as they made it sound"
I really wanted to like this lock, but it’s been a headache. It randomly refuses to open, even when I’m using the app like I’m supposed to. I’ve already been stuck outside twice trying to get my own bike unlocked, which is seriously frustrating. They make it sound like it’s supposed to be convenient and dependable, but that has not been my experience at all.

"Looks good at first, but frustrating to use"
At first glance, the site looks slick, lots of big images and a modern vibe, but actually using it was kind of annoying. I just wanted to look at the bikes and compare prices, but there’s so much scrolling and the text isn’t always easy to follow. It feels like they focused more on making it look cool than making it simple. A few pages loaded weird for me too, which didn’t help. not really my style

The gears kept slipping while I was riding, which was super reassuring, obviously. I couldn’t really trust the bike because I never knew if it was actually going to shift properly or just do its own thing.

"Expected way better brakes for the price"
I’ve had my vanmoof for a few months now, and the brakes have been the biggest letdown. They squeak often, and every now and then they just don’t feel like they’re really grabbing, especially if the roads are a little wet.
I went into this expecting a much more solid, premium ride, so it’s frustrating having to brake way earlier than I normally would just to feel safe in traffic. For what the bike costs, I really didn’t expect something as basic as braking to feel this unreliable.

"Smart features don’t actually work that well"
I was hoping this would be more reliable, but the app keeps glitching on me. The unlock feature actually failed twice, which was frustrating when I needed it to work.
